Letters to Santa
After I finished filming the scenes at the ice rink, I decided that our group should go to the mall. It was already getting late and Ben had to go home at 4 o'clock so this had to happen quickly. The Galleria mall was far from where the rink was so I suggested that my group and I ride together in the same car. This would help everything move along faster so we could all get there at the same time instead of meeting there. Since none of us can drive yet, we needed a parent or sibling to drive. I told my group members to all text their parents to see who could take us. I texted my mom and she couldn't drive at the moment. Addison texted her dad and he agreed to drive. I was very thankful because it was a far drive. I soon got to the Galleria mall with my group and proceeded to go into Macy's. Macy's is usually where the letter writing stations are. There was only 3 letter papers left which was perfect. I suggested that Ben film this scene so I could be in the scene. He agreed because I didn't get to be in the rink scenes. I suggested that Kaya, Addison, and I should write about asking for a good grade in media studies from Santa to add some comedy into the scene. The next thing that was filmed was me putting the letters into the mailbox next to the writing station. I started walking around looking for a place to film our last scene. The Galleria mall is very festive around the holidays so this was easy. Ben had to leave since it was 4 o'clock already, so Kaya filmed the last scene. Addison and I skipped together to the massive Christmas tree near the entrance of the mall. I suggested that Kaya do a zoom at the end of the scene so it could blur into the "The End" screen that I said we should put at the very end of the music video. This music video was so fun to make because I got to create good memories with my friends and work as a team with them.
