For the first page of our storyboard, we have our main character set out on a late-night drive around the neighborhood. The scenery is shown to set the tone for the movie. Roads are empty in this neighborhood and its night time. 


On page 2 we have our main character clearly distracted while driving then it cuts to the antagonist walking peacefully on the street until she gets struck by a car.


The main character is obviously distraught at the thought of having accidentally killed someone. So she hides the body at her house until the morning. In the morning she recovers the body and places it in the trunk of her car.


As the main character is driving the dead body to the new location some strange things happen in the backseat of the car. A worried friend tries to reach out to the main character but gets quickly shut down. The main character soon arrives at the destination and dumps the body and begins to bury it.


After burying the dead body the main character returns to her car and begins to drive. Once again strange things begin to occur. She thinks the noises she is hearing are all in her head and turns up the music, that is until she gets a strange text message.

  My group for the music video is me, Kaya, Ben, and Addison. I have been friends with them for a very long time and I think they are great people to do this project with. We all usually have similar ideas. Our personalities go well together and do not clash. I chose them for this project because I know I can count on them to do their share of the work. They are very creative and can help with the brainstorming aspect of the project. Ben actually makes music so he could help us determine what we should put in the video. We all love being in front of the camera, but also behind so we can all be in the video. We always work well together and listen to each other. We communicate ideas well and can agree on things.   Part 1-  The main takeaway of the video is what goes into making a good film.  Editing and filming are required for the audience to understand the story.  The video talks about how the film was made and how it was meant to show what is happening.  Editing is important in movies in general.  The pictures put in allow for a clean effect for shots.  The shots and reverses allow us to feel the film.  Long shots allow the audience to better see the film.  The audience was given more time to study the pictures.  The images are each their own story. - How can we better represent situations and emotions in our film?  This film goes back in time in a straightforward manner for the audience to understand everything.  Audio can also be used to enhance the video.    Conventions in Thriller films Genre Research: Thriller Close-up- may be used when your attention is intentionally directed to the character’s face and at times what is behind them. Extreme close-up- used as a powerful way to convey the emotion that the subject is feeling. They are used in thrillers to allow the audience to get a clear understanding of the emotions the character is going through. Used mostly to convey fear, pain, and sadness in thrillers. Low angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. High Angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. Costumes are more often than not very simple and plain. Muted colors are usually used to not take away from what is actually happening in the movie.
