Park Search
Before filming, I realized that one of the locations needed to change. Birch State park is right on the beach which is very crowded right now. Living in South Florida, there are a lot of people traveling here for spring break. The beach is very crowded all the time. Since there is a lot of traffic and people walking around, I decided that I needed to change parks. I needed to find a similar setting. I looked for wooded/closed off locations. I found Joseph C. Carter Park which looked nice. I realized it wasn't wooded enough, so it would be hard to find a closed off area to film the scenes we needed. I kept searching for new parks. Then, I came across the Secret Woods Nature Center. This park was perfect for what we needed to film. I did more research on it. I found out that they are strict with filming inside the park because it is a private nature center. So, I had to find something else. I kept looking for something similar to the look of the secret Woods nature Center. I almost gave up on finding a park because I couldn't find one I liked. But, I came across Snyder Park. Snyder Park was perfect. I did some deeper research and found that filming is allowed. It is a beautiful park and I am so happy I found it.
