Genre I Would Like to Research

 There are many different film genres available. Each genre can be given a variety of clever ideas and inventive twists. But I think three of these will be the most helpful to me. Comedy, thriller, and coming-of-age are the three genres. Horror was something I really wanted to add, but I knew it would be impossible to capture and edit. All of them appeal to me much, but comedy stands out in particular. I think writing and producing would be so much fun, especially given how funny my group and I are. Even if I still need to do more research, the blind eye comedy seems like the greatest option. I think a thriller would be fantastic. I just don't have the equipment or resources to produce a genuinely exciting movie. But I could be proven wrong. Maybe there will be specific types of thrillers if I start studying the elements of a thriller. I may then adjust to my resources and skill level. The final genre is coming of age. Typically, they are deeply touching films that track the development of a single character. It might also be a smart decision if it turns out that a coming-of-age story doesn't have much more to offer. I can't wait to get my research going. I'm going to discover a ton about the many elements of various film genres. Which genre I choose to work on will be up to me. I can then start making plans and communicating with my team about what needs to be done.

  Part 1-  The main takeaway of the video is what goes into making a good film.  Editing and filming are required for the audience to understand the story.  The video talks about how the film was made and how it was meant to show what is happening.  Editing is important in movies in general.  The pictures put in allow for a clean effect for shots.  The shots and reverses allow us to feel the film.  Long shots allow the audience to better see the film.  The audience was given more time to study the pictures.  The images are each their own story. - How can we better represent situations and emotions in our film?  This film goes back in time in a straightforward manner for the audience to understand everything.  Audio can also be used to enhance the video.    Conventions in Thriller films Genre Research: Thriller Close-up- may be used when your attention is intentionally directed to the character’s face and at times what is behind them. Extreme close-up- used as a powerful way to convey the emotion that the subject is feeling. They are used in thrillers to allow the audience to get a clear understanding of the emotions the character is going through. Used mostly to convey fear, pain, and sadness in thrillers. Low angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. High Angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. Costumes are more often than not very simple and plain. Muted colors are usually used to not take away from what is actually happening in the movie.
