Genre Decision: Coming of Age
This genre appealed to me because I wanted to film and edit a positive story. I believed that I might be able to depict a personal experience of mine. Writing and producing something that may convey an important message to many people would be really rewarding. The other genres were equally interesting, but given my lack of experience, they would have been far more challenging to create. For instance, even though I think of myself as very witty, it would be extremely challenging to write a comedy movie. It would be much more difficult for me to come up with a full comedy script because I am not particularly imaginative. Considering thrillers, I believe that the editing would be really challenging. I lack both the best editing software and editing abilities. Editing special effects and other such things might well increase the suspense of the movie, but I lack the necessary skill set to do it. Since I lack the appropriate clothes and makeup to make the thriller believable, the movie wouldn't look well. It's a reasonable task for me to attempt and perform well when I come of age. It seems to have a lot of flexibility and space for error, in my opinion. I think we could use to make a small adjustment to our pitch. My current impression is that our proposal reads too much like a drama or thriller. I want a challenge, but not one that appears overwhelming. Our pitch, in my opinion, is good, but it has to focus more on the characters' development, n ot the protagonists' difficult upbringing and strict parents. The major objective of my movie is to demonstrate and establish a connection with the young audience who must deal with several issues at home. Drugs, alcohol, or abusive behavior between parents toward their children are just a few examples. I can't wait to make these improvements. Coming of age is the main theme I chose since I wanted to convey a message to the audience.
