An emotional day

 Today was another filming day. This filming day was a little bit different than the others. Today, I really needed to be on my A game. This was because we were filming the more serious/emotional parts of the film. Felipe texted the group chat to come to his house soon. I started getting ready. Felipe told me to wear extra eye makeup. This was to make the emotional aspect look more realistic. I got dressed first. Then, I spent a lot of time on my makeup. I used mascara that was not waterproof. This was to make sure it would run down my face in the event that I need to cry. Then, I was on my way. I drove to Felipe's house, which is only about 2 minutes away from mine. Then I parked in the parking garage in his building, which is always a nightmare. I went up to his apartment and he had already set everything up. He had the body bag and the fake alcohol set. He was also already in costume. I was happy about this because I wanted to get started as soon as possible. Finally, the sun set so we could start filming. For some reason, my acting was really on point today. Because of this, we got the filming done fairly quickly. After we wrapped it up, Felipe and I watched the scenes over. They were perfect. Going home knowing that the scenes were exactly the way I wanted them made me very happy.

  My group for the music video is me, Kaya, Ben, and Addison. I have been friends with them for a very long time and I think they are great people to do this project with. We all usually have similar ideas. Our personalities go well together and do not clash. I chose them for this project because I know I can count on them to do their share of the work.   Part 1-  The main takeaway of the video is what goes into making a good film.  Editing and filming are required for the audience to understand the story.  The video talks about how the film was made and how it was meant to show what is happening.  Editing is important in movies in general.  The pictures put in allow for a clean effect for shots.  The shots and reverses allow us to feel the film.  Long shots allow the audience to better see the film.  The audience was given more time to study the pictures.  The images are each their own story. - How can we better represent situations and emotions in our film?  This film goes back in time in a straightforward manner for the audience to understand everything.  Audio can also be used to enhance the video.    Conventions in Thriller films Genre Research: Thriller Close-up- may be used when your attention is intentionally directed to the character’s face and at times what is behind them. Extreme close-up- used as a powerful way to convey the emotion that the subject is feeling. They are used in thrillers to allow the audience to get a clear understanding of the emotions the character is going through. Used mostly to convey fear, pain, and sadness in thrillers. Low angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. High Angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes.
