Got to work

Today was a very busy day for our group and I was pumped to get started. Felipe told us to be at his house by 3 PM sharp. I arrived on time and was ready to go. When I got there, Felipe was already in costume and he asked me to make sure all the cameras were ready to shoot.I had a bit of a slow start because the rest of our actors were late. Kaya came first. Logan came right after her. After our whole filming crew arrived, we eventually got the ball rolling. First, we filmed a scene where my friend Kaya and I walked home together. Then I shot scenes where Kaya and I were by ourselves, except for the last one. The tricky part was remembering all of my lines. I did so many takes to get it perfect. I also couldn't stop laughing. In the film I have to be serious so I needed to keep my composure. I was so relieved when I finally got the perfect take! The other two scenes were way easier. They only needed a bit of movement with minimal talking. After I wrapped up acting, Felipe realized that he forgot to hit the record button for one scene. Felipe called me and the rest of the crew back to re-film that part, and luckily, everyone came back. To say thanks, Felipe bought us some food, which was a sweet gesture. I was grateful to be part of such a productive team. I went home and showered and I was ready to unwind for the night.

  My group for the music video is me, Kaya, Ben, and Addison. I have been friends with them for a very long time and I think they are great people to do this project with. We all usually have similar ideas. Our personalities go well together and do not clash. I chose them for this project because I know I can count on them to do their share of the work.   Part 1-  The main takeaway of the video is what goes into making a good film.  Editing and filming are required for the audience to understand the story.  The video talks about how the film was made and how it was meant to show what is happening.  Editing is important in movies in general.  The pictures put in allow for a clean effect for shots.  The shots and reverses allow us to feel the film.  Long shots allow the audience to better see the film.  The audience was given more time to study the pictures.  The images are each their own story. - How can we better represent situations and emotions in our film?  This film goes back in time in a straightforward manner for the audience to understand everything.  Audio can also be used to enhance the video.    Conventions in Thriller films Genre Research: Thriller Close-up- may be used when your attention is intentionally directed to the character’s face and at times what is behind them. Extreme close-up- used as a powerful way to convey the emotion that the subject is feeling. They are used in thrillers to allow the audience to get a clear understanding of the emotions the character is going through. Used mostly to convey fear, pain, and sadness in thrillers. Low angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes. High Angle- to show the power struggles of characters throughout intense scenes.
